Her glowing eyes.. Nice illustration, very Grimmisch. One Thing: there are some green dots (leaves?) wich are of a tone that does not exactly fit. On the right on the branch that is in front of the moon. You know what I mean?
From what I see, Little Red is just begining her journey through the forest. You've all ready set the mood with color. Adding a shadow will totally give away that it's Little Red. But do you really wanna do that? I can see it in another piece, if your planning on doing another Red. You've captured a mood and emotion in a simplistic way. Too much detail can make a drawing way too busy. The eye will be moving this way and that and not the way you want 'em too move. I know your only talking about a silhouette of the Wolf, but, if your anything like me you won't stop there. Trust me. I'm nutts that way. And that came off too harsh I'm sorry I've been up for 24 hrs. Wahhh!! But I really Do love "Forest" just the way it is if that helps any.
Ya know the "Little Red Riding Hood" story is one of my most favourite.
(how the hell can red riding hood be our favourite story? xD no offense.)
I was thinking for years about the main reason red riding hood exists. it's like has no meaning at all. but then i found it. it reflects the skeleton of storytelling. introduction plot, intrigue, Farce, culmination, ending, epilogue.I think that's the reason, this story has held in generations. as far as i know, and i pretty damn am sure about that, drawing something must come from your heart, and engage it within technique and style. this picture is complete. at least for me. and is god damn awesome. tnx for existing mon.
